Chat
Chat is how you work with Foam. Ask a question in plain language and Foam investigates across your logs, traces, metrics, session replays, and page analytics, then answers with evidence you can act on. No query language, no dashboard hunting.
Ask anything about your system
Questions that normally require stitching together several tools are a single message in Foam. “What’s the p95 latency on checkout?”, “Why did this customer’s export never arrive?”, “Where in onboarding do users drop off most?” — Foam pulls the relevant telemetry, follows the trail across services, and comes back with a direct answer.
Answers come with evidence
Foam doesn’t just tell you what it found — it shows you. Replies include the charts, timelines, funnels, traces, and side-by-side comparisons behind the conclusion, inline in the conversation. You can interrogate any answer with follow-up questions, and Foam keeps the full context of the investigation.
Delegate work, not just questions
Chat is also how you get things done. Ask Foam to instrument a route that has no data yet and it proposes the pull request. Ask it to track a new KPI, build a funnel, or set up a monitor and it creates them for you. If the data needed to answer your question doesn’t exist yet, Foam closes that gap first and then answers.
Built for the whole team
Because the interface is plain language, chat works for everyone: engineers root-causing a latency spike, support tracing a customer’s missing export, product managers asking where users drop off, and finance asking what the LLM spend per agent is. Everyone gets answers from the same connected telemetry.
